Success at Shell Eco Marathon 2017

On April 30th, Team Northern celebrates after placing 23rd with a final run of 520 miles per gallon (US), and an unofficial run breaking 800 MPG! The students are very excited to share their story.

Vikings Assemble !

Northern's Eco Team meets for the first time in September 2015. The Eco-Team was created after Northern students visted the Shell Eco Challenge 2015 in Detroit, Michigan. The technology department, along with a number of students and staff,  decided in June 2015  to attempt to enter a vehicle in the 2016 event.  The event will test students abilities  to problem solve a number of engineering and manufacturing challenges.
